Join us for Safe and Sound Week from August 11-17, 2025, where OSHA and the National Safety Council emphasize management leadership, worker engagement, and hazard identification and elimination.

During this week, crisis management and emergency action plans play a crucial role in ensuring safety and preparedness. It’s vital to review and update your emergency action plans, conduct training sessions, and be ready for any unforeseen events. Remember, being prepared can save lives.

When we talk about emergency action plans take the time to evaluate your company’s operations and determine what you need to have on hand for a period of time for the worst case senerio. Items such as water, plastic bags, blankets, ice, food, first aid equipment. Also make sure your supervisors and managers are aware of the emergency shut-offs for your water, gas, electricity are located and if there is any special tools necessary to turn them off.

Engaging in hazard recognition not only involves supervisors and managers but also empowers everyone to identify and address potential risks. This collaborative effort is invaluable in creating a safer work environment for all.

Let’s prioritize safety, take proactive steps, and work together to ensure a secure and sound workplace.
