Safety…..It’s in your hands

Something to really think about……..

In our world today, especially at work, we should always remember that our safety is in our own hands. Don’t depend on management, supervisors, or co-workers to manage your safety and well-being. Take a look in the mirror every morning, and make sure your loved ones know that you love them no matter what happened the day before.

Stand by your principles and values.…yes values. I don’t know of any company paying their employees enough money to be injured or killed at work. So, that leads me to my questions…..Why do we take shortcuts, place ourselves in harm’s way, and do what we know could injure and yes even kill ourselves?

Understand that most corporations value the bottom line at any cost, and that includes your life.
