Alignment is more than a conversation

David A. Ward Sr.

Most executive teams struggle with alignment because they fear what they may uncover. The truth can be hard to hear, especially when it challenges what leaders believe is happening throughout their organization.

You may agree around the table that safety matters, people matter, and trust matters. But what do employees experience when production pressures rise, a supervisor makes a difficult call, or someone speaks up about a concern?

The answer may be uncomfortable. It may reveal mixed messages, expectations that change from one department to another, or employees who no longer believe speaking up will make a difference.

That is why executive alignment requires courage. It asks leaders to listen without defending, confront the gap between intention and experience, and decide together what they will do about it.

Before you ask why employees have lost trust, ask whether your executive team is willing to hear the truth.

I founded The Humanistic Shift™ to help leaders have that conversation and turn it into action. If your executive team is ready to look honestly across the table, let’s talk. Schedule a meeting today so your organization can thrive tomorrow. https://scheduler.zoom.us/david-ward-sr/
